Mama Said There'll Be Days Like This.....Farewell to Smasher
Well, not everything goes as planned....just a simple ride to Blackwater turned into an adventure....We recovered a stolen bike....then Smasher took a fall.....
If youre gonna steal a bike, here are a few pointers.....Know how to ride....Don't ride it the next day....Don't ride it in flip flops....Don't try to escape down a dirt road.....WE WILL FIND YOU....EVEN IF WE HAVE TO HUNT YOU DOWN ALL OVER NAVARRE..... I hope the pics explain the evening....I enjoyed my first ride with you all, what an excellent birthday present.....thanks

It was funny how that bike-stealing clown didn't think twice about riding past a dozen bikers with his newly-pilfered ride. Thanks to Patches for the keen eyes.

I wish this part had never happened. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. There were at least two motorcyclist fatalities in the local area today.

GeezyFBabi, I merged the threads together so it is easier for everyone to follow.
On one hand I am glad I wasn't there today, on the other, I wish I would have been there. One always thinks to themselves..... "what different might of happened if I was there?" Probably nothing, or perhaps it might of been me... Who knows? One thing I am glad is Smasher is Okay.... On a side note: No more riding your bike through blackwater the day before you PCS!!! This has happened to many times now... I hate to see guys with plenty of experience go down... I guess its just bad luck... who knows. And for those people who want to think..... "he was probably doing something stupid when this happened".... Thats not the case. He was doing 35-40 mph... they were just cruising... and the road had a blind curve up hilll.... and there was a large hole... damage to the road surface that caused this accident. Again, I just am glad my boy is okay!! Now.... To KDizzle..... My hat is off to you bro!! He took down that bike stealing piece of shit and gave him a piece of his mind! And special thanks goes out to my girl Patches with the keen eyes for spotting him. So another eventful day, but thankfully with this one... Everyone is still alive. Keep in mind, there were atleast two fatalities on motorcycles today in our local area. My thoughts and prayers are with those families who lost a loved one today!!

Hi guy's,
I'm new to this site, but not new to this group. I finally registered. Yeah! That was a crazy day yesterday. But considering what could have happened, we are all very blessed to be able to talk about it with some humor, very little humor. It was a dangerous situation. Not only was there a big hole in the ground, but quite a bit gravel and sand. I'm with Doc, I feel for the families of those riders that lost the life's. I wish we would have to risk our lives each time we get on our bike's.
